New Orleans Mardi Gras 1941 in color

It is almost Mardi Gras time again in New Orleans & elsewhere.This film takes us back to Mardi Gras 1941 and is in living color. This was the first year a female krewe paraded (Venus) and was the last celebration until after the war. The hot Dixie jazz is provided by George Lewis & Johnny Dodds. So Bon Temps Roule!

So all of the videos, reports, personal stories, and stats, are wrong ???? So mardi gras in no is undeserving of its rep ? So, I think I'll skip mardi gras in Mobile this year and take my family to no, no need to worry about getting blind sided by drunks or thugs over beads, or letting my kids get flashed, what's the odds anyways, right ???
